My name is Indira.
From old times, elephants have been a very familiar
animal to people in India. They have been coexisting
with human beings for a long time. Just after the
second world war, Jawaharlal Nehru, the late prime
minister of India, presented two elephants to the
Japanese Children as evidence of the friendship
between India and Japan. I am one of the two
